Classes
The children are grouped by ages into four classes. "Popcorn" and "Peanut" classes are reserved for younger children and "Bubblegum” and "Crackerjack” classes are for children preparing for entrance into kindergarten. We are licensed for 20 children per class and each class has a teacher and one to two aides.
Sessions
Happy Valley Children's Ranch offers a preschool program for children from the ages of 3 to 5 years old. Classes are in session from mid August through May, Monday through Friday. The children who attend Happy Valley come to school either one, two, three, or four times per week for a two and one half hour session. We offer a morning session* (8:30 A.M - 11:00 A.M or 8:45 A.M. - 11:15 A.M.) and a mid-day session (11:45 A.M. - 2:15 P.M or 12:00 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.).
* Starting in the Fall of 2012, the start times for some of the classes will be changing (Bubblegum and Popcorn classes are 8:15a.m. - 10:45a.m. Crackerjack and Peanut classes are 8:30a.m. - 11:00a.m.)
Staff
We provide a staff that incorporates extensive experience in early childhood education, a degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or Director's certification. They are caring and nurturing and have a strong dedication to the children and families they serve.
